BROUGHT FORTH. First Yom (first day) You created the heavens, stretched them out, brought forth the earth, grand design.
Dark and formless, void, you moved upon it, wonders began.
The floor of water, glass for your feet. The light pierces, darkness flees.
Pleasing the light, from which shadows ran, a heavenly garment, you adorned yourself with.
Second Yom. The expanse above, heavens first, waters above divided from the earth.
Third Yom. The liquid ground, gathered to one place. Revealed dry land, named earth.
The waters collected, you called seas. Bringing forth all, clothed with skin.
Grass, herb, fruit yielding tree, after their kind, containing seed. Folicles of soil, noble.
Forth Yom. The universe above, were two lights placed. Ruling the day, ruling the night. Sun and Moon.
Earths clock, to measure time. Spanning signs, seasons, days and years.
The circle of the earth, whereupon you sit. Heavens curtain, your tent of dwelling.
In your tent, humanity lays down. When night appears, the stars educate.
Shimmering, shining, an audience they invite. The universal blackboard, let the dance of knowledge begin.
The suns warmth, on days reign, seal of approval, for time well spent.
Fifth Yom. The waters birth, of their wondrous womb. The living moving creature, abundantly they teem.
Throughout the abundance, great whales tower. Regal, their majesty bellows.
The sky follows suit, an areal display. Every winged foul, after their kind.
Seeing you smiled, bessing you blessed. “be fruitful and multiply! populate sea and earth!”
Sixth Yom. The beast, cattle, creeping thing. after their kind from dust came.
Seeing it was good, you turned to mankind. Male and female came them forth, In your own image, set apart.
To be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth. Decree laws and govern, over sky sea and land.
Every herb and tree, yieldeing seed, was given for food, and blessed by you.
The beast, fowl, creeping thing; throughout the earth, with life within. was every green herb given for meat.
Looking upon creation made, it was not just good, but very good.
Seventh Yom. Thus were the heavens and earth made. From all your work, this day you rested.
The day of rest, blessed and sanctified. “remember the shabbat, to keep it holy”

LOOK AT ME. Look at me and tell me, what do you see. Me, A beauty, visible in plain sight, or your projected perception. Hidden, by the scales on your eyes.
Look at me and tell me, what do you see. The same old same old. Working day end ride home. Usual stop for local chores. Shower, lounge, word vomit gossip. lights out for next usual day. 5 senses, good and bad, seen and done a thousand times. Attention receive these more than I, inanimate reciprocals. The disconnected bus ride home, Wall-e’s glued to their phones. Demolition man sexual relationship, reality. Unable to see past clothes and skin, barren language, cosmetic reality. Beauty, maturity, wisdom, judged, not by sight, but what I wear. Coat-hangers, walking the streets. Entire worth in whats wearing them. Manikins, one and all. External beauty, nothing within. These are they passing judgement on me, whose souls are in need of the fashion police.
Look at me and tell me, what do you see less than what your bowls release. Even that is natural pressing your flesh, engaging feelings as it leaves. Boasting times spent with you, what it did affecting you to. To it you gave quality time, the toilet seat the last goodbyes. It departed leaving one last hurrah, the groaned approval audibly heard. In the eyes of the dead, I am less than that. Deserving of no acknowledgement. The faeces of the dog, rained upon the earth, does your rejection discard me. Not even human, demoted beyond a dog. The status of shit, the k9 rejects. What must I do to get you to see, my worth is not in you, but Yehovah my King.
Look at me and tell me what do you see. Your true state projecting on me. I am here, and not beholden to you. ©2019 Peter Nathan. Nathan Art Gallery.

LILLY. I am poured out as water from a vessel rejected in pain. A lifetime of troubles, my speech has fled.
Why to such grief, have I been abandoned? Why to such loss, am I exiled?
Connection dead, in a desert of souls. Grains of sand, dry bones.
Their counsel, heat and affliction. Grief and thirst, met with dry water.
The oasis, an imitation of reality. Beautiful exterior, internal hell.
I thirst, yet none understand, the water of life I crave.
Full immersion, Niagara erupts, eternal fountain, alive, wet.
I long for death, yet all I know, Is its intimate touch, cocooned within.
Discouraging acid, corrodes my soul. Its loveless embrace, imbalanced fellowship.
An unjust weight, cannot be countenanced. Can two walk together, without common ground.
Life in a desert, support must exist. The only real oasis, Lilies of the valley.
Does not nature teach? (C) 2020 Peter Nathan. Nathan Art Gallery.

HOPE - THE IMMOVABLE DOVE. The glucose my soul digests. The instant boost injection.
A drip, daily release peace to all my distress.
Thoughts and focus polarised, to future plans and events.
The shopping cart of my mind, filled with - strategies, creativity, ideas.
Alkaline visions, practical attainable realities.
Jelly beans of ecstasy, time release love.
The addiction, that never chains. The eye of the storm, to peace hope draws you.
Laying you down, in the hurricanes eye.
Its barbaric nature, wanting you to kill.
Now surround sound, military protector. Till it huffs and puffs, and blows itself dead.
To sunshine you arise, your treasures to present. ©2020 Peter Nathan. Nathan Art, INFJ Art Created.
